The Consistory at WGRC is the core leadership group that is responsible for all decisions regarding both the ministerial and organizational direction of the congregation. Consistory is made up of Elders, Deacons, Presiding Minister, and Clerk of Consistory. Elders oversee the membership and internal ministry of the congregation including the celebration of the sacraments, while Deacons deal with the health of the organization and the ministries that move outside of the congregation. Holding all of this together is the Clerk of Consistory, who keeps track of all that is going on including keeping minutes, drafting letters, and maintaining schedule.
